ABOUT ME
Hamani A. Veney was born on October 24, 1999, in a small area of Virginia known as the Northern Neck, a region on the middle peninsula made up of five small counties. Growing up, Hamani began his education in Lancaster public schools before transferring to Northumberland County public schools during kindergarten. After graduating from high school, Hamani pursued higher education at Old Dominion University, majoring in real estate and business.
However, early in his college journey, Hamani found himself losing interest in the traditional academic route. This shift in focus led to a decline in GPA, and by sophomore year, he lost both his scholarship and financial aid. Faced with the challenge of owing the school money, Hamani was forced to drop out. At the same time, he was in the process of being evicted from his college apartment, making it a particularly difficult period.
During this challenging time, a close friend introduced Hamani to the life insurance industry in December 2018. By January 2019, Hamani had officially started his career in life insurance. Despite knowing nothing about the field at the time, and being just 19 years old, Hamani decided to take the leap. After studying for five days, he took the state licensing test, initially failing but succeeding on the second attempt. Earning his life insurance license marked a turning point, and Hamani describes it as the best decision he’s ever made.
Since then, Hamani has thrived in the life insurance industry, specializing in final expense insurance. With over five years of experience, he has written over a million dollars in business and became the youngest six-figure earner in his region. This success is a testament to Hamani’s resilience, determination, and commitment to helping others secure their financial futures.
Outside of business, Hamani is passionate about mentoring others and frequently shares his knowledge through Zoom platforms and conference calls. He is deeply rooted in his faith, with Jesus Christ being the center of his life, guiding everything he does. Hamani also enjoys spending time with his large family, traveling, reading, and constantly learning.
Today, Hamani continues to pursue personal and professional growth while helping others along their own journeys. Whether through mentorship or life insurance services, he remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact.
